4 burgers and a coffee to go. As a huge White Castle fan, these were very satisfying. I could probably eat 36 more if I had the time.
Chewing is optional as these burgers will melt in your mouth. -

It's really all about the dbl dbl coffee here....get a couple of them. In the take out line which has a clockwise rotation, most people are going to get a "double double"...it is addictive coffee and a Southwest Detroit icon.
I think they are making their own creamer here....something old school to it....sweet condensed milk, milk, nutmeg ? What is that that I am tasting...it is addictive....always get two coffees and a nutty donut !
Sliders are small, tasty, smashed....it is all about the coffee here. John R coffee not the same as here ! -

This is probably the tiniest place I've been able to sit down and eat - only 6 seats. The counter ladies knew the entire neighborhood and were super chatty in that local way. While grilling up our sliders, the grill man also chatted us up. Coolest part is the take out window as the orders are taken over the grill and it's just super weird and cool. Super fast and delightful eats. Will take out of towners here. Cash only!

The Telway slider is pretty good. The Coney is awful. The donut is nothing to write home about. Not that you would write home about a donut. Or would you? I mean, I won't judge.
The service and prices are absolutely wonderful. Sketchy doesn't even come close. I mean, Detroit is one of the poorest and most dangerous cities and this is in one of the most downtrodden areas, especially late at night. But that's part of the charm. So come and get a slider. You know you want to experience this. A million, billion miles away from your Orange County, Fairfax County, Westchester County palatial crap. Better, too.

This is true Detroit arguably the best coffee in Michigan this place is classic they have all beef sliders and fries this was where sliders were before Corp America got involved the conversation is always lively
